Kultakori AfroMart is an online grocery and bakery store based in Tampere, Finland, specialising in African foods, ingredients, and freshly baked goods. We operate under Finnish law and EU regulations.

You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order. By using our site, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. We reserve the right to refuse orders at our discretion.

All prices are displayed in Euros (€) and include Finnish VAT (ALV) where applicable. We strive for accuracy but reserve the right to correct any pricing errors before confirming your order. Product images are for illustrative purposes; slight variations in appearance may occur for natural food items. Availability of products is subject to stock levels and seasonal supply.

Placing items in your cart does not constitute a purchase. A contract is formed when you receive an order confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to cancel or amend an order if a product becomes unavailable, if there is a pricing error, or if we are unable to verify payment. In such cases, you will be notified promptly and any payment taken will be refunded in full.

Some bakery items (such as custom cakes and celebration orders) are available as pre-orders and require advance notice as specified on the product page. Pre-orders must be paid in full at the time of booking. Cancellations of pre-orders are accepted up to 48 hours before the agreed collection or delivery time; cancellations made after this deadline may not be eligible for a full refund due to the perishable and bespoke nature of the goods.

We accept payment via the methods displayed at checkout. All transactions are processed by a PCI-DSS-compliant payment provider. Your payment details are encrypted and are never stored on our servers. By completing a purchase, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for the total order amount. In the event of a disputed or failed payment, we reserve the right to suspend fulfilment until the matter is resolved.

We deliver within Finland. Delivery fees and estimated timeframes are displayed at checkout and may vary by location. We aim to dispatch in-stock grocery orders within 1–3 business days. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed; delays due to logistics partners, weather, or force majeure are outside our control. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photographic evidence.

As a consumer in Finland, you are protected by the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (Kuluttajansuojalaki, 38/1978) and applicable EU consumer directives. Right of withdrawal (etäostojen peruuttamisoikeus): For non-perishable items purchased online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason (cooling-off period). To exercise this right, notify us at support@kultakoriafromart.fi within 14 days of delivery. Exceptions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to: • Perishable goods (fresh produce, bread, pastries, and other items with a short shelf life) • Custom or pre-ordered bakery items made to your specification • Items that have been opened and cannot be resold for hygiene reasons Refunds for eligible returns will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods or proof of return. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Faulty or incorrect items: If you receive a defective or wrong item, we will offer a replacement, repair, or full refund at our expense in accordance with Finnish consumer law.

Product descriptions include allergen information where available. However, our facilities may handle common allergens including nuts, gluten, dairy, and sesame. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering. We cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

All content on our website — including text, images, logos, and product descriptions — is the property of Kultakori AfroMart or its licensors and is protected by Finnish and EU intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our express written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by Finnish law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of our website or purchase of our products is limited to the value of the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under Finnish law.

These Terms are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes will first be addressed through our customer service. If unresolved, you may refer the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta, kuluttajariita.fi) free of charge, or to a competent Finnish court. You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website after the effective date of any revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
